I trained as a pharmacist 30 years ago and spent some years working in hospital pharmacy, eventually managing Sunnyside Hospital Pharmacy. I then left pharmacy to have our four children. During this time I was involved in voluntary community work and pastored a church for seven years. A number of years ago I retrained as a pharmacist and begun work in community pharmacy. Currently I am working as a Field Educator for the CCPG. I also work one day a week in community pharmacy and one day a week tutoring pharmacy technician students at the Pharmacy Academy. I love pharmacy work and am passionate about all my jobs.

In my spare time I love hanging out with family and friends in the great outdoors. I dabble in sailing, surfing, windsurfing, attempting to snowboard and I love to walk, swim, tramp and camp. One day (when I have enough money) I would like to sail around the islands, partnering with an aid organisation delivering medications where needed!
