Why was no-one answering the CCPG telephone on Wednesday 17th January between 11 and 5? Well we can now reveal that the whole team was away developing a workplan for the coming year.
The purpose of the planning day was to map out the ways in which the team can facilitate the efficient delivery of operations and services to our members and partners.
The key objectives of the day included:
- Understanding team dynamics by exploring peoples’ strengths and how best to utilise these.
- Developing, initially, a 6 month workplan with clear timelines and results
- Identifying resources required such as time, training, mentoring for the team to efficiently deliver outputs
The day was facilitated by Donna Hahn who kept us on track and ran activites to help us all better understand our role in the team and how our strengths can contribute to deliver of CCPG services.
At the end of a very busy day we all had a better understanding of our strengths (we are passionate about pharmacy and community, love to be involved with innovation and getting exciting projects off the ground), our different contributions and had captured our focus areas to guide the workplan.
We are cognisant of our opportunities but especially our challenges and our need to support you best using the limited resources at our disposal. The workplan will be a great help in keeping our focus on our priorities for the coming six months.
The team brainstorms ideas for the new CCPG Workplan, inspired by views of the Port Hills.
