Maria McIntyre

Maria McIntyre has been co-owner of Unichem Bishopdale Pharmacy for the last ten years – a dream of hers from when she worked there as a pharmacy student 20 years ago!

After working in NZ and overseas in both hospital and community pharmacy, Maria was drawn back to her Bishopdale community routes.

“For me, giving and receiving quality healthcare is built on relationships. Being a pharmacist in our community allows us to develop unique relationships with people.  It is those relationships that give me the most enjoyment from my work.”
